On October 22, 2026, the 9th Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable (KGIR 2026) was held in Shymkent under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The forum brought together more than 500 representatives of international companies, investors, and the business community from over 40 countries.
This year’s theme was “From Stability to Growth: Kazakhstan’s New Investment Cycle.” Participants discussed attracting foreign investment, developing industry, the digital economy, energy, and transport and logistics infrastructure, as well as strengthening international investment cooperation.
During the forum, representatives of the Management Company introduced foreign investors to the opportunities offered by the ICBC Khorgos SEZ and the government support measures available to investors. They highlighted the SEZ’s location on the border with the People’s Republic of China and its potential to provide access to the EAEU market, which has more than 180 million consumers.
Foreign investors were invited to visit the ICBC Khorgos SEZ to learn about the region’s infrastructure and investment projects.
