2005 – creation of JSC “International Center for Border Cooperation” Khorgos
The purpose of the creation was the implementation of an international project. The company during this period carried out the construction of infrastructure and infrastructure facilities, after which it became the governing body of the Khorgos International Center for Border Cooperation and represented the interests of the Kazakhstani part of the Center.
2017 – the Center obtains the status of a free economic zone.
2019 – the Khorgos International Center for Border Cooperation JSC received the status of the managing company of the free economic zone, which entailed the renaming of the Khorgos International Center for Border Cooperation Management Company JSC of the free economic zone.
2020 – rebranding and reorganization of the company in accordance with the requirements of the current time in order to achieve the objectives.

- Providing for secondary land use or use (sublease) of land plots and the lease (sublease) of infrastructure facilities to participants of the special economic zone and persons carrying out auxiliary activities;

- Monitoring the implementation of the terms of agreements on the implementation of activities;

- Conducting marketing research on the creation of new industries in the special economic zone;
- Carrying out activities for the development and promotion of special economic zones;
- Attracting investment for the implementation of industrial-innovative and investment projects in the special economic zone;
- Interaction and work with potential participants in special economic zones, applicants, participants in special economic zones on the principle of “one window”;
- Providing utilities, logistics and services.
