Description of the Chinese part of the center

General information

In 2005, the Government of the PRC and the Government of the RK signed an agreement on the joint creation of the Khorgos Sino-Kazakhstan International Center for Border Cooperation.

The total area of ​​the Chinese part is 343 hectares.

On the Chinese part of the Khorgos ICBC there are 4 zones with an area of ​​9.73 km2 that perform the following functions: customs clearance, logistics services in the SEZ, port operations and integrated services.

According to the rules of the Chinese side, visitors are allowed to take out duty-free goods worth 8,000 yuan per person every day.

Citizens of China and Kazakhstan, as well as third countries, can enter or leave Khorgos ICPS without presenting a passport, pass ticket or other valid documents without applying for a visa for up to 30 days.
